Life Time
Life Time describes its clubs as entertaining, educational, friendly and inviting, built around the health and fitness of the whole family. It operates 195 athletic country clubs across the United States and Canada, and each one holds far more than a gym: group fitness and yoga studios, tennis, squash and racquetball courts, pools, a café, a spa, programs for kids and a calendar of events.
The challenge
A membership like that is many services under one name, and members reach for them at different moments of the day: a court before work, a class at lunch, a shake after a workout, a massage booked for the weekend.
The member app had to hold all of it and still feel simple. It had to work the same way at home, on the go and inside the club, and at the front desk it had to be the membership card itself.
How Megsoft collaborated
Megsoft collaborated with Life Time on the member app, a product whose scope reaches every part of the membership: getting into the club, reserving a spot, ordering, booking, training and staying in touch.
Megsoft works with enterprise product teams as an extension of their own. Its engineers fit into the client's way of working, plan alongside the client's team, ship on the client's release rhythm and check in on progress regularly. The client keeps the direction of the product and gains the capacity to deliver it.
What the app brings together
In the club
Check-in with the app, or with the membership card kept in the phone's wallet. Hours for the LifeCafe, Kids Academy and pools, and nearby clubs when traveling.
Reservations
Group fitness and yoga schedules with saved searches, and courts for tennis, squash and racquetball.
Café, spa and rewards
Shakes and meals ordered for pickup after a workout, LifeSpa appointments, and LT Bucks to redeem.
Training and club life
Workouts and tutorials, exercise and visit tracking, club news and alerts, events, and a direct line for feedback.

Why it matters
For a club, the member app is the one part of the membership people carry everywhere. With fifteen services in one place, it becomes the member's way into everything the club offers, and a direct line from the club back to its members.
